Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini gives up on the Premier League title Race.

Chelsea will be officially win the title if they beat Crystal Palace on Sunday, just minutes before Manchester City kick off against Tottenham.

"You ask me about this season I think that Chelsea was the best team, that he deserves to win the title because he has been the most consistent team with very good players," said Pellegrini.

"I congratulate his owner because he is always improving his squad and I congratulate his fans and Jose Mourinho and the players because they deserve absolutely the title."

Pellegrini believes City can rescue something from their disappointing campaign by finishing runners-up to Chelsea.

He claims they will be without Yaya Toure for their trip to White Hart Lane, adding the midfielder's hamstring injury could keep him out next weekend against QPR.

Skipper Vincent Kompany also misses out with a groin problem, while Stevan Jovetic is also crocked.

Will Chelsea finish the job tomorrow? Yes or No. comment
